Basic Info
I am a 21 year old student studying for a Bachelor of Music degree Australian Institute of Music. I love playing and teaching guitar, I find it to be very fulfilling to see a student's skill set improve with my assistance.
Experience
I have been playing guitar for 10 years and teaching for 4 and I am confident that I am skilled enough to teach beginner to advanced guitarists in whichever aspect they desire. This can consist of teaching classical, rock, acoustic and everything in between. I am in two bands that I have played a number of gigs with and I see accompaniment and cooperative playing to be an important part of learning to play so I aim to incorporate this in my teaching.
Aim
My goal is to make myself obsolete as fast as possible by teaching students the fundamentals of proper guitar playing technique. This is so that when they chose to stop taking lessons they will go on to continue to play and self-teach correctly without need for further assistance. I am very passionate about playing and I love when other people can share my passion for guitar this is why I love teaching. If you are considering taking lessons please contact me.
